Fans had so many jokes for Rob Lowe wearing an NFL hat at the Niners-Packers game

You know, Rob Lowe is just a fan of the game.

During the first half of Sunday’s NFC Championship Game between the Packers and 49ers, Fox’s Joe Buck did what he’s done thousands of times over the years: He read a promotional plug for Fox’s television programming.

But this time, the star of the show, Rob Lowe, was in the crowd. As Buck read the plug for 9-1-1: Lone Star, the camera panned to the stoic Lowe in the stands at the Levi’s Stadium. Just from a look at Lowe’s attire, the actor was not rooting for either team. He instead opted to wear a generic NFL hat.

Lowe’s actual favorite NFL team is the Colts, but rather than rep a team that wasn’t participating in the game, Lowe really showed up to the game looking like an undercover ref.

NFL fans predictably had jokes about the hat.
