"It's the most we have had involved in writing an album and the sound of this album is fresh.”

Nicky also revealed that music legend Ed Sheeran sent his son a gift as he was learning to play the guitar.

Meanwhile, new dad Mark opened up about his frustration with the surrogacy laws in Ireland and his work to create change around them.

He said: "Imagine someone walked up to you and said, 'That's not your kid'. Effectively, the current law says that for a lot of people in the country. I think it is really unfair and we just need to change that and move on."
