Fans flood Josie Gibson with same 'should' remark as she stuns in snap from This Morning studio

Josie Gibson had been inundated with the same comment as she posted a stunning snap of herself taken in the This Morning studio. The TV star surprised fans when she returned to the helm of the ITV daytime show on Monday (June 26).

Viewers were expecting to see Holly Willoughby fronting the programme as usual alongside her latest co-host in the wake of Phillip Schofield's shock exit. But instead, they were treated to Josie and fellow popular star Craig Doyle as they kicked off the week in energetic style.

In the spirit of the weekend's Glastonbury Festival, which came to a triumphant end on Sunday night (June 25) with a jam-packed set from Sir Elton John, This Morning decided to get in on the action in a bid to keep the party going on a slightly dreary Monday morning.

But while they may not have woken Elton from his post-Glasto slumber, they did rope in one of his tribute acts for an energetic performance of I'm Still Standing which had Josie and Craig up off the show's famous sofa and on their feet as they wore funky glasses inspired by the superstar singer.

Following the jam-packed show, which saw Josie and Craig tackling many of the usual segments from beauty to cookery, Josie took to Instagram to share a snap of herself alongside a gushing message to the This Morning team.

The presenter, who shot to fame after winning Big Brother in 2010, looked stunning as she beamed for the camera while sporting a pastel purple top which she tucked into a pair of dark trousers that skimmed her gorgeous curves. Josie, who is a doting mum to her son Reggie, completed her look with a pink palette of makeup and wore her blonde locks in classic curls.

"Thank you @craigadoyle. Thank you my @thismorning. Thank you to all our lovely guests. I've had a blast!!!!" Josie typed to her 435,000 followers. She added to her glam squad for the day: "Thank you for a cream of the crops make over from @lyndseyharr1son. Styled by @rachaelhughesstyle."

And fans wasted not time in rushing to comment on the post and not just with compliments as they made the same 'should' remark.@andrewkiely6 said: "Shud be on every morning this pair the chemistry is." @mblack8070 wrote: "Such a nice show today. Just a lovely gal." @jkmorris4 replied: "Fantastic lady Josie you are a beautiful lady inside and out you definitely should be on the show every single day." @ricky9876123 added: "Blimey @josiegibson85 you are looking amazing I'm so glad you and @alisonhammond55 have gone on so well from BB days couldn't of happened to two nicer ladies."

It comes after Joise spoke positively about working on This Morning following the Phillip Schofield scandal as she appeared to address the 'highs and lows' behind the scenes. The 38-year-old was one of those to remain quiet after Phillip announced he was 'stepping back' from the ITV daytime show after more than 20 years.

Less than a week later and the 61-year-old then announced he'd be leaving ITV altogether after he admitted to lying to his employers, and others about an "unwise but not illegal" affair with a younger male colleague, confessing that he concealed the truth about the romance.

And when Holly Willoughby returned to the programme for the first time since the news broke, it was Josie who was by the 42-year-old's side. After she made a tearful statement addressing the elephant in the room, it was

Speaking to OK Magazine while promoting her new ASMR video for Cadbury Brunch Bars, Josie claimed her career so far has been a "complete fluke", but was full of praise for ITV, which she says has "really looked after her" despite accusations of a "toxic culture" which ITV bosses were quizzed on during a parliamentary committee meeting last week.

Appearing to subtly allude to the recent scandal surrounding the popular programme, Josie commented to OK: "There have been highs and lows, but it’s been a lovely journey."

Continuing to praise the broadcast and how it has supported her progress, Josie said: "I wasn’t a very good presenter at the start, because I couldn’t see the autocue, but then I had my eyes lasered, and This Morning gave me a chance "Fair play to the show – they even stuck with me after I had a panic attack in the studio because I was so nervous. But they really nurtured me and they’ve been brilliant to me."
