- The Culture, Media and Sport Committee, which commissioned the review, is pressing for this measure to be implemented without delay.
- The report also advocates for a Government and industry-backed Music Fan Association, similar to those for football supporters, and a comprehensive fans' charter.
- Review chairman Lord Brennan stated that fans often feel “neglected and ripped off” by “sharp commercial practices“ in the music industry.
- Further recommendations include transparent tiered ticket pricing, resisting dynamic surge pricing, clear refund policies, a mandatory levy for grassroots venues, and improved accessibility and amenities at venues.
