Fans fear Iranian Hulk will be "destroyed" by 'World's Scariest Man' after training footage emerges

Fans fear the 'Iranian Hulk' Sajad Gharibi will be destroyed by 'World's Scariest Man' Martyn Ford after training footage emerged showing the former fighting four men.

Gharibi weights a monstrous 390lbs and will face seven-foot tall Ford who is well known for his starring acting roles in Fast & Furious 9 and Kingsman: The Golden Circle.

The 30-year-old strongman has been in training for the event that is set to take place on April 2 in London and has released some footage on social media that shows some bewildering boxing technique.

He appears to be wrestling and fighting four men using a combination of boxing and clinching, before charging into them bowling them over and sending them crashing to a mat.

He also has one of the men pinned up against the wall and is throwing some powerful body shots into the padded mid-section of one of the fighters.

Fans have now questioned the 'Iranian Hulk's' boxing technique with one commenting: "100% this fight with Martyn is never going to happen!! He would absolutely destroy you and you know it."

Another joked: "How much did you pay these actors? Also you cant throw people in a boxing match, unless it is some kind of training exercise."

One fan commented: "The worst. You’re not even hitting him…why slow motion? You’re going to get destroyed in the ring."

Another fan remarked: "You may be big and strong but your technique is a joke! And I guess your stamina is going to be poor too. Good luck it's gonna be one round and good night."

One viewer wrote : "I thought you was having a boxing match. Hulk you'd be better off watching a YouTube tutorial and hitting the bag, you're going to lose real bad."

Meanwhile one fan questioned if the fight will take place: "The fight between Martyn and this clown is not gonna happen trust me!"

Neither Gharibi or Ford have any prior experience fighting in the boxing ring but the British star has a deep background training in mixed martial-arts.

However they do hold a rivalry which has originated from their planned showdown during Ford's time signed to Polish-MMA promotion KSW.

Strongmen converting into professional boxers is a craze that has continued to rise in the last few years with Eddie Hall and Thor Bjornsson also set to do celebrity battle.

Boxstar Celebrity Boxing will promote the event later this year which is also set to include a whole host of "celebrity" names featuring on the card.

Ford has promised to stage an event that fans will "never forget" despite not promising to display the most neat boxing "technique".

"The London O2 is booked. I would absolutely love to put on an event you guys will never forget," he wrote on Instagram.

"This to me is very personal. Things have been said that can't be taken back, by numerous people in his circle.

"I can't promise you the most technical fight in the world but I will promise you that I will bring my absolute everything and turn this into an event you will never forget."
