Fans debate what Conor McGregor is doing with his hands during photo at Katie Taylor fight

Conor McGregor was among a star-studded audience at Katie Taylor's fight over the weekend.

The Bray boxer lost to Chantelle Cameron on Saturday at Dublin's 3Arena, bringing an end to her undefeated boxing record.

Cameron, a two-weight world champion, successfully defended her light-welterweight titles against the home favourite.

Fellow fighter Ebanie Bridges was also among the major names watching the fight. The 'Blonde Bomber' turned heads with her glamorous appearance in a low-cut dress.

Bridges didn't miss the opportunity for a photo with McGregor, sharing the moment on Instagram the enthusiastic caption, "Ringside with the one and only @thenotoriousMMA" adorned with a shamrock and heart-eye emojis.

However, some fans couldn't help but notice the positioning of McGregor's left hand, Daily Star reports.

With his right hand clenched into a fist, his left arm wrapped around Bridges' shoulders, raising eyebrows due to its proximity to her chest.

One person laughed: "Look at where Conor kept his hand."

Another joked: "That left hand is too close."

However others defended the Crumlin man insisting his hand placement was innocent.

It was even suggested the picture was merely a chance for him to show off his watch, a Weir & Sons Patek Philippe Annual Calendar Chronograph 5905P, believed to cost in the region of €97,000.

Bridges also uploaded videos of herself getting ready for fight night, giving fans a sneak peek of the stunning dress she would be wearing to the 3Arena.

The 9-1 boxer was dubbed "a goddess", "beautiful" and "absolutely stunning".

As for McGregor, a return to the Octagon appears within sight after he confirmed he's back in USADA's drug-testing pool.

He's set to coach opposite lightweight Michael Chandler in the latest season of The Ultimate Fighter, with a showdown between the duo expected to crown the finale.
