Fans concerned as airport ‘trip’ sees Keith Duffy falling on his face as he nearly misses flight

Keith Duffy fell on his face as he nearly missed his flight during his airport “trip”.

The BoyZone superstar was running for his plane when his son captured the moment he fell up the stairs in Aberdeen airport.

Jay Duffy had a laugh about his dad's accident, and Keith urged fans not to be concerned, as the only thing that was damaged during the incident was his ego.

Keith took to Instagram to say: “Always late for my flight but the guys in Aberdeen airport are simply lovely, especially Cathleen in the lounge.

“For those of you unlike my son who are genuinely concerned, I’m actually fine apart from my ego.”

Keith has been travelling around the UK as he has been taking part in a golf tournament in aid of charity.

The Legends Tour, a competition that sees celebrities and sportsmen tee it up with professionals in teams of four to create ultimate golfing experiences.

The annual event of the celebrity series is took place in Scotland this week.

The winners will be going to Mauritius in December to battle it out in the Grand Final for £100,000 for charity.

Keith Duffy and Brian McFadden took to the sky on a private jet on Thursday.

They were joined by well-known jockey AP McCoy, Stephen Hendry who's a snooker champion and football manager Robbie Fowler.

Brian posted a snap on Instagram which said: "En route to Aberdeen for the @eulegendstour event".

46-year-old, Keith posted: “On route to Royal Aberdeen with some familiar faces for @eulegendstour after a super day @wentworth_club @rob9fowler @apmccoy @s_hendry775 @brianmcfadden123 !”

He spent a day at the Wentworth Club yesterday with Hollywood A-lister, Tom Holland, Olympic gold medallists James Guy, Sam Quek and Denise Lewis.

Reality stars Spencer Matthews and Chris Hughes were also there, along with footballer John Terry and music artists including Niall Horan and Boyzone band mate Ronan Keating.
