Gordon Ramsay got the thumbs down from some fans after they complained his onion tatin burger with a special apple butter looked raw.
The Scots chef showed off his huge new creation alongside the caption: "Looking for the perfect #Burger recipe for the long weekend? Apple Butter Basted and a bun to wow... this recipe is it."
Gordon added butter and sugar to a pan alongside molasses and apple cider.

He simmered the sauce then added a slice of onion and apple and a layer of puff pastry. Gordon then brushes the pastry with melted butter.
He then puts chuck and sirloin alongside granulated garlic and 'apple butter', shapes the burger and places it in an oiled pan along with some 'apple butter'.
He sears he burger, flips it and then adds a slice of camembert until it's melted.

Gordon then builds the giant burger from the bun, burger, lettuce, tomato and the pastry lid.
He serves it with chips and tomato sauce, but not everyone was impressed when Gordon cut into his big concoction.
One person said: "It's Raw."

Another replied:" It's medium rare."
Someone else said: "First you added a lot of salt, second its raw, third the onion burned."
Another added:"It's raw!!! You know you don't serve raw meat to anyone!!! Are you trying to kill someone?"
Someone else defended: "Sometimes I wish I wasn't vegetarian cause that looks absolutely delicious."
