Fans were left frustrated throughout Amazon Prime’s coverage of Arsenal vs Southampton due to a repetitive beeping noise.

The streaming giant is providing coverage of the Premier League during the midweek round of fixtures.

And throughout the first half at the Emirates, where Theo Walcott’s goal separates the sides, a number of complaints poured in on social media.

Another replied: “My Amazon prime stream just keeps beeping at me. So annoying.”

“I don't know what's been worse, Arsenal's first half performance or the incessant beeping noise on the Amazon prime video stream,” remarked another fan.

Some fans reported that adding the artificial crowd noise helped remove the beeping noise from their audio.

Fans also vented their frustration at the picture quality, with the viewing experience largely dictated by the viewer’s internet speed.

Amazon’s official Help account on Twitter acknowledged the issue with several replies to fans complaining.
