Almost 60 performances lie in store for music fans at Newcastle's three-day This is Tomorrow music festival.
And Lewis Capaldi, who is playing on Saturday prior to Noel Gallagher, will be celebrating as he took the number one slot in the charts this week.

As the first of the fans arrived, there were still tickets left for the event either on the door - cash only! - or online for Saturday and Sunday .
It was early days as our photographer arrived but Newcastle four-piece The Old Pink House were already warming up the atmosphere as all prepared for a sunny, fun-filled evening.
The music is likely to sound across the moor, but residents will be unable to access park facilities until after the Bank Holiday weekend.
