Mason Greenwood's FIFA 22 Ultimate Team rating has been confirmed, and fans are infuriated about the new rating of the Man United youngster after an impressive campaign last season.
Ahead of the upcoming release of FIFA 22 on October 1, EA Sports are beginning to reveal player ratings for the new game alongside lots of information about FIFA Ultimate Team, with the full Man United FIFA 22 squad ratings being released today.
Cristiano Ronaldo is the highest-rated player at the club despite getting a downgrade to 91 overall, and Ronaldo is followed by his Portuguese teammate Bruno Fernandes (88), and then Paul Pogba and Jadon Sancho, both rating at 87 overall.
United will boast one of the highest-rated teams in the Premier League next season with plenty of upgrades across the board.
However, despite being one of United's biggest attacking threats over the last two seasons and his brilliant start to this season, Greenwood is one of the lowest-rated gold players at United in FIFA 22.
Mason Greenwood has been given a +1 overall upgrade to his FIFA 22 card after scoring 12 goals in all competitions last season, but for a player of such quality and potential, it's quite strange to see the 19-year-old receive such a minor upgrade.
In the United squad, he's rated the same as Juan Mata who only registered three goals and two assists last season. He's also rated lower than Jesse Lingard (79), Anthony Martial (81), and Fred (81).
But most surprising of all, Greenwood's shooting stat remains at 78 - despite him being one of the most clinical finishers in the Premier League.
To put this 78 shooting rating into context, Spurs' Steven Bergjwin has the same shooting stat and only scored two goals in all competitions last season, and Everton's James Rodriguez's shooting stat is eight higher than Greenwood at 86, despite only scoring six goals last season.
Players like Harvey Barnes, Bukayo Saka and Jude Bellingham are all rated higher than Greenwood on FIFA 22 Ultimate Team.
