Fans are freaking out over Aaron Judge becoming Yankees’ latest injured player

Aaron Judge looks like he might be the latest player hit by the New York Yankees injury plague this season.

The right fielder exited Saturday’s home game against the Kansas City Royals in the middle of the sixth inning with a left oblique injury, the team announced on Twitter. He will get an MRI and be evaluated at New York-Presbyterian Hospital, and it’s currently unclear how serious of an injury this is or could be.

After hitting a single in the sixth, Judge was seen clearly wincing when he got to first base before leaving the game.

And he could join the long list of currently injured Yankees players, which also includes Giancarlo Stanton, Luis Severino, Didi Gregorius, Miguel Andujar and Gary Sanchez — although the last two might be on their ways back.

None of this is good news for the 9-10 Yankees, who ultimately beat the Royals, 9-2. And fans on social media were freaking out.
