Fans and listeners all sending the same message as Ryan Tubridy misses RTE radio show again with illness

Oliver Callan again stepped in for Ryan Tubridy on his RTE Radio One show as he continues to be off work sick.

The popular radio and TV host has been ill for the last few days with a "persistent cough" and is currently isolating.

There has been no update from the host himself or RTE as to when Tubridy will return to the airwaves or TV screens.

Miriam O'Callaghan also stepped in to host The Late Late Show on Friday night in the long-time hosts absence.

Fans of the radio show have been sending nice social media messages to Tubridy wishing him well and hoping to hear him back on their radio soon.

Lorna Sims Byrne tweeted: "Ryan Tubridy must be protected at all costs. Get well soon."

Margaret Flynn said: "Hey Ryan! My Mum and I hope you get well soon. We also hope you are back on The Late Late next week. *Hugs My Mum said She's praying for you."

While Ursula De Brun added: "Wishing Ryan Tubridy the best. His radio show has been incredibly uplifting. Get well soon Ryan."

It remains to be seen when the RTE star will return with hopes he will be back on the couch for The Late Late Show this Friday night.
