Fans all say same thing about the Liverpool January transfer deadline day stance

Liverpool fans have all been reacting to the club's January transfer window stance and their plans ahead of the summer.

Takumi Minamino was signed by Liverpool from RB Salzburg at the start of the month but the club are happy with their squad amid a 19-point lead at the top of the Premier League.

Jurgen Klopp has explained that Liverpool may attempt to strengthen in the summer window but unlike their rivals including Manchester United, it has not been a busy deadline day.

The Red Devils, for instance, have been linked with the likes of Joshua King, Willian Jose and Odion Ighalo.

But Liverpool fans have enjoyed the quiet life today.

Meanwhile, Klopp has added that summer business may be sorted.

"Not easy but is it possible? We will see. We just prepare for situations," Klopp told the Echo.

"We always try to strengthen but that could mean we look at our own squad.

"These are talks we have as we try and estimate the future. We believe we can do a lot with this existing squad.

"If you can make the next step, you are in the right place. To improve this squad easily would be really strange."

It's this Liverpool stance from Klopp that has fans delighted not to be rushing around trying to complete deals on deadline day.
