Fans have heaped praise on Katie Taylor after a documentary on the lightweight queen hit TV screens on Monday night.
'Katie' is a feature-length documentary taking a behind-the-scenes look as the Bray woman stepped into the world of professional boxing after a shock defeat at the Rio 2016 Olympics.
The award-winning film directed by Ross Whitaker also sees the Olympic gold medallist open up the breakdown on her relationship with her father and former trainer Pete.
It was shown on RTE last night and fans were left loving Taylor more than ever.
One person said: "Tears...Laughter and Pride. What a fantastic lady. Inspirational, humble, humane. A beacon of light in a cynical world . Fair play Katie."
Another commented: "Such an amazing person and athlete! An inspiration to aspiring female and male boxers!"
Someone else tweeted: "I really didn't know Katie's story until watching this tonight with my kids. Such an inspiration...I am in awe!
