Fangs Vampire Spy: Codename: The Tickler by Tommy Donbavand - review

This is a very funny comedy book about (you guessed it) a vampire spy called Fangs, and his friend and agent Puppy Brown. They’re on a mission to stop the “Tickler” from attacking President Starburger (the President of the United States).

My favourite character is Agent Puppy Brown. The reason is because she is quite intelligent, and she’s very patient putting up with Fangs who thinks he is “the best vampire spy in the world”, but seriously isn’t. I have to admit these characters can be quite… how do I put this into words? … gruesome, yet wonderful. Professor Hubert Cubit makes many gadgets to help the agents, including a weird and wonderful invention: the Will Pill! Dun dun duuuuuun!!!! (unfortunately it causes the whole problem in the book).

Fangs

My favourite part of the book is when Caramel Cole, the owner of a not very amusing circus, grabs the sword swallower’s sword and digs it into Fang’s leg.
Will Fangs and Puppy Brown be able to stop the Tickler? I would recommend you don’t rely on Fangs to be the hero! If you want to know whether he dies or not you need to get this book! I would recommend this wonderful, funny book any time, and I think it would suit 7-10 year olds.
