Fancy working for Nottinghamshire Police? These roles are available right now

With job opportunities falling at a record rate, Nottinghamshire Police said it is still 'open for business' and employing new people.

A number of new jobs have been advertised with the force and they are encouraging local people to apply.

The Office for National Statistics said there had been a record fall in job vacancies for the three months to April to 476,000 nationally - down 342,000 from the previous quarter.

There are a number of jobs up for grabs at Nottinghamshire Police and it is not just police officers.

The force is looking for a number of customer service technicians and an IT service engineer.

They are also looking for an intelligence analyst who will work within the Counter Corruption Unit providing information to support criminal or misconduct investigations.

The starting wage for this role is between £26,280 to £30,024.

The police are also advertising clerical roles, and need a principal accountant, with a salary that begins at the £40,000 mark.

Nottinghamshire Police are also accepting transferee and re-joiner police officer applications.

This is for police officers wanting to move to Nottinghamshire from another force or rejoin the force.

Salaries can range from £24,177 to £45,099.
