Fancy working at Glastonbury Festival 2020? Here's how to apply

Hundreds of thousands of revellers missed out on securing a ticket for Glastonbury Festival 2020 during the general sale in October.

But there is another way to enter the 50th anniversary bash, if you're prepared to work for the golden ticket.

Applications for chefs and kitchen staff have just been announced on the festival's website.

But be warned, the roles are for full-time positions and the applications say: “this is hard work, rather than just an easy way into the festival.”

For the chefs role, it is essential that candidates have experience in cooking for large numbers as well as some knowledge of vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free dishes.

Forms have to be submitted no later than February 29 and you will need to be available between May 29 and July 14.

Beatles legend Sir Paul McCartney and American pop star Taylor Swift have already been revealed as two headliners for the huge celebration.
