Irn-Bru have given us all an early Christmas gift by announcing that they're planning to unleash a new festive flavour - a limited edition ginger version called Crimbo Juice.
The new release was unveiled by the Evening Times earlier today (25 October), and it certainly looks intriguing.
Earlier this week, Barr also delighted fans by announcing that their would be making a reappearance. IRN-BRU 1901 will follow an authentic recipe from a handwritten book stored deep in the Barr company’s archives for over 100 years. It'll only be sold in authentic glass bottles, and doesn't contain caffeine.
Given the age of the recipe, it is thought that nobody in the world has tasted this early version.
The new festive limited edition drink is being marketed as 'spiced ginger' - it might be quite similar to Fiery Irn Bru launched in 2011 and discontinued a few years later due to poor sales. A leaked product description claimed the drink would retain its legendary original flavour, but came infused with ‘hints of ginger, clove and cinnamon’.
A spokesperson for IRN-BRU said: "Whether you're naughty or nice, hold onto your reindeer, there's something special on the list for Christmas”.
