While our cravings tell us we want a Domino's , sometimes our bank balance tells us we're better off opting for a pizza from the local supermarket instead.
So in a bid to create a shop-bought pizza that tastes nothing like you just took it out the cellophane, the Co-op has launched a brand new luxury pizza range that tastes identical to the ones you get when on holiday in Italy.
Taking an entire twelve months to create, the Co-op hopes its new launch is the most authentic Italian pizza range available to buy from a national retailer.
Usually setting you back £5.50 for a large and £3.40 for the smaller, single serve version, Co-op are slashing the prices on them starting today as part of an introductory offer.
From now (27 March) until the 16th April, all the new, large-size Irresistible pizzas will set you back £4 a pop.
There's six large pizzas and three single serve options in the range, including Margherita, Spinach & Ricotta, Truffle Salsiccia, Pancetta with Mushroom & Mascarpone, Salami Diavola, Proscuitto and Rocket, Antipasti and Chicken Arrabbiata.

The secret to the taste? The starter dough used for the bases is from a 75-year-old recipe that an actual, real-life Italian Nonna named Nonna Rizzo, who has been using a home-made starter dough affectionately known as ‘Arturo’ (‘Arthur’) – in her family home since the 1940s.
Nonna Rizzo agreed for Co-op to exclusively use Arturo in their dough, which is then topped with a tomato base using Italy's famous San Marzano tomatoes.
