Fancy getting into Electric Picnic for FREE? Now's your chance as the festival recruits volunteers

It's the biggest festival of the year, so tickets for Electric Picnic are always like gold dust.

And with an incredible lineup this year that includes Hozier, The Strokes, Florence and the Machine and The 1975 to name just a few - it's no wonder the 2019 event sold out in record time.

But there is a way music fans can get into the festival without paying a cent.

When is Johnny Logan coming to Dublin's Vicar Street and how much are tickets?

Organisers are recruiting for weekend volunteers - and it looks like a pretty sweet gig.

In return for free weekend entry to the festival, successful candidates are expected to carry out 24 hours of voluntary work.

You can do either four six hour shifts or three eight hour shifts - and what happens over the rest of the weekend is up to you!

Volunteers will also get a vest and info pack and access to staff camping areas.

According to the ad: "Volunteering at Electric Picnic is a really great opportunity to see what goes on behind the scenes, gain valuable experience for your CV, and play a part in making Electric Picnic one of the best music festivals in the world!"
