Sky Sports pundits have been giving their verdict on Jacob Murphy's late equaliser for Newcastle United against Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Steve Bruce's men looked to be heading for defeat at Molineux after Raul Jimenez put Wolves ahead with only 10 minutes of Sunday's Premier League clash remaining.
However, Murphy's clever 89th-minute free kick earned the Magpies a 1-1 draw in from of the live Sky Sports cameras.
The chance came after Conor Coady was adjudged to have fouled fellow England international Callum Wilson.
Reflecting on the incident, Jamie Redknapp said: “It’s not much of a foul, there’s certainly a little bit of a nudge by Conor Coady.
"Callum Wilson does well, he just gets across the defender. He makes so much of it, you can hear him complain, he goes down and gets his arms up.
"That’s probably why he gets it.”
Former Newcastle ace Kieron Dyer credited his old club with deceiving Wolves keeper Rui Patricio for the late leveller.
“I think he (Patricio) thinks (Miguel) Almiron is taking the free kick because it’s perfectly set up for the left footer," said Dyer.
"They can’t go round the outside of the wall, but with the right-footer, it’s gone round the wall, they needed an extra man out there to stop that from happening.
"As he said, because he’s hit it low and hard, the keeper doesn’t see it until it’s gone past the wall and he cannot react in time.
"So, it’s well played by Newcastle to recognise that.”
Jamie Carragher, who was on co-commentator duty, added: “The keeper is not right and the wall’s not right. That ball should not go in there.
"It should be over further, and it’s the goalkeeper’s job to set it up.
"Jacob Murphy fancied it right away, you always think this is for a left footer.
"There’s no great disguise. You’ve got to blame the goalkeeper - he sets the wall up.
"He has to be telling people in the wall where they need to be.”
