Today’s #FanPoll is dedicated to honoring the best Miami Dolphins victories of the 2018 NFL season. We took to social media and tasked Miami fans with declaring what they thought was Miami’s second best win…after the Miami Miracle of course.
The poll, which we ran on Twitter (@thedolphinswire), featured four potential candidates.
- Week 3 – Oakland Raiders (28-20)
- Week 6 – Chicago Bears (31-28)
- Week 9- New York Jets (13-6)
- Week 13 – Buffalo Bills (21-17)
Over 500 Dolphins fans weighed in, and here’s what they had to say.
It seems that the Dolphins’ top two wins of the season were overwhelmingly memorable to Miami fans. The Dolphins’ 31-28 overtime victory over the Chicago Bears brought home a monstrous 86%, which is the biggest landslide we’ve seen in any Fan Pulse poll to date.
The game, in which Brock Osweiler spelled Ryan Tannehill and Albert Wilson ran wild on the Bears, was a thriller that included several missed field goals by the Bears down the stretch.
Miami’s wins over Oakland (the High-Five and Xavien’s interception in the end zone), New York (Baker’s pick-six) and Buffalo (Clay’s dropped touchdown) were all thrilling in their own right, but apparently they hold nothing to the Miami Miracle and the start of Brocktober, 2018.
