Fan Poll: Who leads the 2019 Dolphins in sacks?

The pass rush in South Florida is going to look significantly different in 2019 than the last time we saw the Dolphins take the field. Gone are Cameron Wake and Robert Quinn — and the Dolphins are looking at more odd man fronts to boot, meaning the personnel alignments will be different as well. It all shapes up to a giant wildcard for the 2019 Miami Dolphins.

If the team is able to generate pressure with blitzes and on the interior, the Dolphins’ defense may not be as bad as many presume. But if the rush is stagnant, the Dolphins don’t have the proven talent to elevate their play and create organic pressure with their down linemen — particularly on the edge.

The Dolphins’ 2019 season could come down to not being terrible rushing the passer. If Miami keeps the heat on the opposition, there’s reason to believe the team is better in enough other places to at least be competitive throughout the season.

But the question remains: who will lead this team in sacks? Will it be versatile linebacker Jerome Baker, who the team has said they will look to use in a lot of different ways? Or what about the team’s 1st-round pick, Christian Wilkins? Perhaps Charles Harris has that big breakout season we’ve been waiting three years for. Or maybe a dark horse contender emerges to dial up the pressure.

So, Dolphins fans, what do you think? Who leads the 2019 Dolphins in sacks?
