Abbey Romeo and David Isaacman, the beloved stars of the US version of Love on the Spectrum, have reportedly broken up after five years together.
The update comes via inside sources who spoke to The US Sun, saying the pair split over a disagreement about when they should get married.

“Sadly it’s true that David and Abbey broke up,” the source said. “They couldn’t come to an agreement on when to get married. She was ready years ago, he still needed time.”
A second insider close to David confirmed “they did break up, but he is doing very well”.
While not officially confirmed by either party, the break up would mark the end of Love on the Spectrum’s longest-running relationship, with the pair meeting on the first season of the dating show and further developing their romance up until the most recent season four.

Abbey frequently mentioned wanting to marry David on the show, including when they appeared at their co-stars’ engagement party in the season four premiere.
“Hopefully we’re next,” Abbey said, with David replying that they “can only be engaged whenever the time is right”. In another moment from season four, which arrived on Netflix earlier this month, David told producers he wasn’t ready to tie the knot.
“We already feel like we’re already married in our hearts,” he said.
Abbey went viral last year when she performed a heartfelt song dedicated to David on the show, titled “Boyfriend Forever”.
Love on the Spectrum is a docuseries following the love lives of young adults with autism. It originated as an Aussie series before expanding to the US, with a fifth season already renewed just days after season four came out.
