FamilyMart Co., working together with a fashion company, will open a new store in Toranomon district in Tokyo on Feb 12.
The major convenience store chain and Urban Research Co., the operator of a select shop based in Osaka, hope to attract customers working in business districts by collaborating across industries.
The new stores will sell hamburgers made with FamilyMart products, in addition to clothing and sundries.

Urban Research hopes that through the joint store with the convenience store chain, there will be more common ground between them and their customers.
