Trinity Thompson, a 15-year-old Cooks Hill girl who disappeared from her home last Wednesday, has been reunited with her family.
The Newcastle Herald understands the reunion came on Monday night and the teenager is being checked over at John Hunter Hospital as a precaution.

Trinity Thompson's father Pat said his daughter disappeared from home last week. He launched a public appeal for help finding his daughter.
He told the Newcastle Herald it was "completely out of character" for Trinity - a former St Pius X student who recently started at the Big Picture Education campus at Cooks Hill - to vanish.
Mr Thompson has reported Trinity's disappearance to Newcastle police and has made a plea for information on social media.
Trinity was reunited with her family on Monday evening.
