Family say Llyr Evans who died in late night Ceredigion crash was 'beloved son, brother and uncle'

The family of a man who died in a late night crash in Ceredigion have paid tribute to a “beloved son, brother and uncle”.

Llyr Evans, who was 31, died on Wednesday night as a result of a crash on the outskirts of Ffostrasol .

He had been driving a blue Ford Ranger on the A486 which runs through the village when he crashed off the road near the local football club.

There were no other vehicles involved in the crash, which happened at around 10pm on Wednesday.

Mr Evans lived in Llanarth around seven miles north of Ffostrasol.

His family has paid tribute to him. In a statement, they said: “We as a family are devastated to confirm the loss of our beloved son, brother and uncle, Llyr Evans.

“We’d like to thank you for all the messages and support we have received and kindly ask for privacy to grieve at this difficult time.”

The coroner for Ceredigion has been notified of Mr Evans' death.
