Family say 'beloved father' killed in Carmarthenshire motorcycle crash will be 'always in our hearts'

Tributes have been paid to a much loved family man who died in a crash in west Wales.

Kevin Thomas, who was 55 and from Aberkenfig, Bridgend, was riding his motorcycle on the B4333 near Newcastle Emlyn in Carmarthenshire at around 2.30pm on Sunday afternoon when the incident happened.

Mr Thomas was the only person involved in the one-vehicle crash and died at the scene, police have confirmed.

His next of kin have been informed and are being supported by specialist officers.

In a tribute released by Mr Thomas’s family, they described him as a “beloved husband, father, bampi, brother, brother-in-law, uncle, and friend”, who would be “always in our hearts but never forgotten”.

Dyfed-Powys Police is appealing for information over the fatal crash and is urging anyone who can help with the investigation to contact the force either online by emailing 101@dyfed-powys.pnn.police.uk, or by calling 101.
