Family's joy as son born on Christmas Day at Leeds hospital

Doctors, nurses, and midwives have been busy delivering newborn babies at Leeds General Infirmary on Christmas Day.

This morning baby Ronan was one of the Christmas babies who were born at the busy hospital.

He made his presence at 1.47am thanks to the help of midwife Abi and Dr Bekah.

Happy parents Jodie and James were pictured with their special little boy.

The Trust shared on social media: “Welcome to the world Ronan!

“A very special Christmas morning delivery at the LGI for his parents Jodie and James.

“Ronan was born at 01:47, with midwife Abi and Dr Bekah on hand to help.

“Congratulations!”
