Family's fears for missing dad Nathan Stokes, last seen in city centre pub

The family of a missing dad last seen in a city centre pub say they are desperate for him to come home.

Nathan Stokes, 27, has not been in touch with anyone since around 7pm on Friday when he was seen at The Rovers Return on Chapel Street.

He is a teaching assistant and father to a three-year-old son.

His ex-partner Naomi Crowder-Kaye is helping his parents co-ordinate the search for Nathan and says his family are all sick with worry.

"We're going out of our minds," she said.

"It is very unusual for him.

"He's a brilliant dad, he doesn't go a day without checking on his son.

"He's always in contact with somebody."

Nathan lives with his dad in Whitefield, Bury, and there has been a possible sighting of him near the Oasis Academy Temple school on Smedley Lane off Cheetham Hill Road.

"We just don't know what's happened to him," said Naomi.

"We're just trying to find some leads to make sure he's safe.

"It's not like him at all.

"Please get in touch Nathan, please come home."

Greater Manchester Police confirmed they are investigating Nathan's disappeareance.

Anyone with information is asked to call the non-emergency number 101.
