Family’s desperate plea for missing man Paul Newcombe to come home

The worried family of a man who has been missing since Tuesday have issued a desperate plea to help find him.

Paul Newcombe, 40, was reported missing on Tuesday, August 11, from Trallwn in Llansamlet, Swansea.

Police say there is growing concern for his welfare.

His former partner, Jemma Hughes, who he has four children with is pleading for anyone with any information to come forward.

"Myself, and my daughter have spent hours searching forests lakes, train tracks, Kilvey Hill, holding her hand while searching for her father."

Talking about the last time she spoke to Paul, Jemma said she received a call at 7:22pm on Tuesday asking to speak to their daughter before he put the phone down.

"This has never happened before, he was last wearing a baseball hat, white t-shirt and a grey tracksuit bottoms and white trainers.

"His phone is turned off.

"Please come home, his family and children need him, let us know you're safe.

"We just want him home safe so we can help him.

"Please all keep looking, and please share any information you may have," the 35-year-old added.

A spokesman for South Wales Police said: "Paul, 40, is missing from Llansamlet, Swansea, where he was last seen around 6pm on Tuesday, August 11.

"There is growing concern for his welfare.

"If you have any information regarding Paul’s whereabouts please contact us and quote occurrence number *291122."
