The family of a man who was killed in the street have just one Christmas wish this year.
As Adam Ellison's family head towards their sixth Christmas without him, they continue to fight for justice every day. During the early hours of November 4, 2017, loved ones desperately tried to save the 29-year-old's life after he was stabbed in the neck.
Adam was out with friends before the altercation with two men who were on a scrambler bike at Market Place, Prescot. But despite best efforts, Adam's life could not be saved and he died shortly after 2am.

Since that day, several lines of enquiry have been carried out as part of an ongoing investigation and arrests have been made but, to date, nobody has been charged. As many families get into the festive spirit this December, his heart-broken family have just one wish - for justice.
Posting on a social media page set up in his memory, his family shared a smiling picture of Adam on what was his last Christmas alive, as they wrote: "Christmas is coming but as my tree and decorations go up my heart hurts thinking of my little brother. It was his favourite time of the year, he loved everything about Christmas.
"Why would you take him from us?
"My Christmas wish is for justice, I have prayed endlessly for you to come back Adam, to zap back in time to try and stop him stabbing you for no reason but I know I can’t, so please, please help my family and friends get justice so we can grieve without this hanging over us and so you can rest in peace my kind and caring brother. I love you Adam, your loving sister Jo."
The ADAM Foundation (Achieving Dreams And Memories) set up in Adam's memory continues to campaign against knife crime across Merseyside and supports community initiatives in the Prescot area. Having visited thousands of children in schools across the borough, the committee – Adam’s loved ones – hope to spread the all important message of not to carry a weapon
As the family fight for justice every day, loved ones can still remember the events from five years ago as though it were yesterday. Speaking previously, family friend Bev Lowton said they are still "haunted" by the flashbacks of Adam's family "pleading" with doctors and friends using their own hands to try and stop the bleeding.
On what marked the fifth anniversary of his killing, Adam's mum Joyce and sisters Nicola and Joanne issued a heart-breaking appeal as they say his death has left them with "a black hole that will never be filled again".
In the video, mum Joyce said: "Everyday getting to his anniversary is hard. People still come up to you and say how sorry they are and about not having justice yet, it's lovely that people around us are saying about being strong, but we're not."
