Family's Bonfire Night outing ruined as poo smeared over car in 'sick and disgusting' act

A family was left 'disgusted' after returning from a firework display to find their car smeared in dog poo.

Ellie Holmes made the shocking discovery when she returned to her vehicle after the special Bonfire Night event in North Wales.

She shared a photo of her poo-covered car on Facebook in the hope of shaming the culprits, North Wales Live reports.

“I got back to my car to find dog poo smeared all over my driver’s side car door handle,” said Ellie.

“I managed to get most of it off before taking a picture, it was absolutely disgusting.”

“Whoever did this should be utterly ashamed.”

Responses suggested that teenagers had been “up to no good” near her car and people were stunned that anyone would pick up dog poo and plaster it on a car for a “sick prank”.

“Who the hell would do that?” said one person. “Not right in the head!

Others labelled the culprits as “scumbags” and “absolutely disgusting”.

“Omg that’s absolutely vile! What is wrong with people?” was one comment.

Another person said: “Absolutely sick b****** with nothing better to do than play with dog s***!”

Organisers of the Tal-y-Bont and Llanbedr fireworks display in the Conwy Valley have apologised, pledging to take action if the culprits are identified.

At this stage it is unclear if Ellie’s car was the only vehicle targeted or if there were others.

Ellie said she was “utterly disgusted” by the incident but it won’t stop her returning to the display in 2022.

“It was our first time watching the fireworks in Talybont and we all said we’d be back next year, as they were so good,” she said.

“When I came back to my car, I changed my mind. But now, after all the support I’ve received, I will definitely be returning next year.”
