Family raffle off £750,000 Spanish villa to help the homeless

This selfless couple are holding a charity raffle for their £750,000 holiday home in Spain - with all the money going to help the homeless.

Nottingham and Derbyshire couple Stephen and Debra Else have come up with a solution for downsizing as a means to helping the work of charity organisation The Big Issue Foundation which supports all over the country.

They are holding a prize draw where one lucky winner will receive their Spanish villa on the Southern Costa Blanca, with profits going to support the work of The Big Issue Foundation with homeless and vulnerable people in the UK.

Stephen, a qualified builder, helped design and mostly built the house with his son, Martin, with construction beginning in 1999.

Since completion at the start of the new millennium, the family have called the villa home, and built memories that will last a lifetime.

However, Stephen is soon approaching retirement and Debra has already retired from her work in the local care home, and with their son settled on the island of Malta, they feel it's time for someone else to create their own memories in the home.

With 4 bedrooms and set in a 2.5 acre plot with panoramic sea views of up to 150 kilometres of the Mediterranean, it offers a garden area as well as plenty of space for crops, with fruit trees already in place, it is a haven for enjoying the relaxed Mediterranean lifestyle

The villa is 300 square metres in size, with a garage, swimming pool, with a separate outdoor kitchen and barbeque area along with two expansive sun terraces.

The winner of the prize draw for the home, recently valued at £795,000, will receive the property completely free of any taxes, transfer fees and similar.

At £5 a ticket, it represents an opportunity to start a new life and help the charity.

A £5,000 cash prize is also available for the top sharers that share the website via social media.

You can find more information about the draw, and buy your ticket, by visiting www.winmyspanishvilla.co.uk or the Facebook page 'Win My Spanish Villa’.
