Family plead for help in finding missing dad-of-eight

The family of a missing dad-of-eight from Cardiff have pleaded for him to come home.

Stuart Davies, from Llanrumney , was last seen on Monday, May 20, when he was dropped off by a taxi.

More than a week later his family say there have been no sightings of the 40-year-old dad and Stuart's father, sister, and children are "extremely concerned" for him.

A family spokesman said: "There's been no sign of him and he's not made contact with us – he's non-existent.

"He is very well known around town and if you ask anyone around there they'll know him."

This is one of the last known sightings of Stuart (South Wales Police)

The family are pleading for Stuart to come home or get in touch and for anyone who has any information to contact police. Dozens of posters have been placed around the city centre and appeals have been made on social media.

Police said he was last seen at around 12.45am on May 20 when he was dropped off by a taxi in James Street, near the junction of Dumballs Road, in Cardiff Bay .

They described him as around 5ft 10in tall, of large build, and with a number of visible tattoos.

Anyone with information or who sees Stuart is asked to contact police quoting reference number 180358.
