THE family of a mum-of-two who was killed when her motorbike collided with a car on the A89 has said a “void” has been left in their hearts.
Natalie Hawkins, 35, was killed when her motorbike collided with a Toyota Celica on Friday around 9.15pm.
The incident, which occurred between Armadale and Westrigg, also resulted in the man driving the car being rushed to hospital as a precaution.
The family of Ms Hawkins said: “’The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched, they must be felt with the heart.’
“Natalie is an epitome of this quote and has left a void in the hearts of her two daughters and anyone who knew her.”
Police did arrest a 20-year-old in connection to the incident although he was later released and investigations remain ongoing.
A spokesperson added: “Anyone with information is asked to call Police Scotland via 101, quoting incident number 4238 of August 11 2023.”
