Family pay tribute to man killed in car crash on A470

Police have named the man who died in a crash on the A470 earlier this month. Family and friends of Lee Sullivan have paid tribute in a statement released through Dyed-Powys Police.

Mr Sullivan died in the collision near the Storey Arms at around 5am on Wednesday, March 22.

The 48-year-old, who lived in the Brecon area, was a passenger in a black Ford Focus when it crashed at around 5am. He was declared deceased at the scene. Two men were taken to hospital following the crash and the road was closed for nearly 10 hours as investigations were carried out.

In a tribute to Mr Sullivan, his family said: “Sadly passed away on the 22nd March, 2023, and will be sadly missed by all his family and friends. RIP SULLY.”
