The family of a man who was stabbed to death said he was a 'hard-working and loving father.'
Paul Joseph Stenson, from West Derby, died after being stabbed in the chest on Sunday, December 19.
Known locally as 'Paul Mac', the 30-year-old was taken to hospital from Princess Drive, West Derby, but he died a short time later.

The dad-of-two was a tree surgeon who 'loved the outdoors' and was 'well known' in the local community.
His family issued a statement through Merseyside Police, they said: "Paul was a hard-working and loving father. He leaves behind his son, daughter, mother and wife who he has been with for more than 15 years, they had been together since school and practically inseparable.
"As a Tree Surgeon our Paul loved the outdoors and was well known in the community as Paul Mac.
"Wherever he went someone would recognise and chat with Paul.
"His loss will leave our family devastated this Christmas and in the years to come."
Officers have said that two women, aged 20, have also been arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender and have since been bailed pending further enquiries.
Tributes have flooded in from those who knew Paul and many sent their condolences to his family.

Detective Inspector Steven O’Neill said: "We are continuing to appeal for anyone with information about this incident to come forward and speak to us.
"Unfortunately we have seen the devastating impact that knife crime can have, not only for Paul’s family, who are now facing Christmas without a loved one, but also his friends and the local community.
"I would urge the public to continue to be our eyes and ears and come forward if they have any information about this incident.
"I would also ask anyone who has information about anyone who is carrying or using weapons to get in touch."
