Family pay tribute to 'loving dad' Tam Neil after fatal crash near Stirling

A family have paid tribute to 'devoted husband' and dad-of-two Tam Neil, 52, who died in a fatal crash near Stirling.

The tragic accident happened at around 1.05pm on Sunday, on Roman Road, Plean, when a Volkswagen Golf and black Suzuki motorbike were involved in a collision.

Tam's heartbroken family have now released a statement through Police Scotland.

It said: "Tam Neil, devoted husband of Sharon Neil. Loving son, brother, stepdad, papa, uncle and father of two daughters, Jacqueline and Amanda. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

"We would ask that you respect the family's privacy at this time to allow us to come to terms with what has happened."

Sergeant David Ross, of Stirling Road Policing Unit, said: “Our thoughts remain with the family during this extremely difficult time.

“Enquiries into the circumstances surrounding the crash continue and anyone with any information surrounding the incident is asked to contact police through 101, quoting incident number 1698 of Sunday, 13 September, 2020."
