Family pay tribute to 'beautiful' woman, 21, killed in car crash which injured three

Tributes have been paid to a “beautiful and much-loved" 21-year-old who died in a crash over the weekend.

Ella Smith died in the collision at about 8.25pm on Sunday in Pembrokeshire.

There were three vehicles involved in the fatal crash on the B4341 between Haverfordwest and Broad Haven.

Three other people were taken to hospital with serious injuries while Ella, from Carmrose, died at the scene, WalesOnline reports.

Her family has now paid tribute to their “caring daughter, sister and granddaughter”.

In a statement, they said: “We are utterly devastated at losing our beloved Ella.

"She was a much loved and caring daughter, sister and granddaughter. She was a beautiful girl who will be missed by us all.

“We would like to thank everyone for their support at this horrific time.

"It has meant so much to the whole family as we grieve for our Ella.”

The B4341 was closed for more than 13 hours on Sunday night and into Monday morning as a result of the fatal crash.

Police are now continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the collision, which involved a blue Citroen C1, a white Ford Ka and a white Seat Ibiza.

A spokeswoman for Dyfed-Powys Police said: “We are investigating a fatal road traffic collision which occurred on the B4341 between Haverfordwest and Broad Haven at approximately 8.25pm on Sunday.

“Anyone with information about the crash is asked to contact Dyfed-Powys Police either online, by e-mailing 101@dyfed-powys.pnn.police.uk or by calling 101.”
