A couple whose daughter was treated at Alder Hey Children's Hospital are offering people the chance to win a stay in a luxury holiday home for just £2.
To raise money for Alder Hey, Rachel Littlewood and her partner Matthew Honeyborne are offering people the chance to win a seven-night holiday at Lower Farm Holiday Cottages in Picton, Chester, when the lockdown restrictions are lifted.
The stunning cottages, which have recently been refurbished, come with a hot tub and sprawling grounds.
Rachel, who works as a Radiographer at Arrowe Park Hospital, said the couple set up the fundraiser to give back to Alder Hey for the amazing care they gave their daughter.
Olivia Honeyborne, aged 3, was born with an Atrial Septal Defect which is commonly referred to as a 'hole in the heart'.
Rachel said: "At the beginning of this year Olivia had a procedure at Alder Hey Children's Hospital to close the hole and we were blown away by the amazing care we received.
"We will be forever grateful to the staff who were involved and would love to give something back to help other families in the future.
"We have decided in our lifetime we would like to raise £6, 351 (or even more) through numerous charity events, as this is the approximate cost to the NHS of Olivia's procedure.
"However, even this doesn't even include all of her pre and post procedural care!"
The one and two bedroom cottages are fitted with beautiful wooden beams throughout and stunning furnishings.
To be entered into the raffle for a chance of winning a seven night stay in one of the cottages, you must donate £2 to the Just Giving Page.
Anyone who donates more than £2 will be allocated multiple tickets.
The winner will be chosen at random on Wednesday, May 20 - Olivia's Birthday.
