Distraught family offer £6k reward for return of puppy that went missing from garden

A huge reward has been put forward for the return of a puppy which went missing last week in Lanark.

The distraught family of missing Harper have put forward a £6000 finder’s fee in the hope that their beloved pet will be returned home.

Harper, a seven-month-old cocker spaniel, went missing at around 8pm on Thursday, March 28, from her front garden in Lanark while on a toilet break.

Since then, her owner Fiona Anderson has taken to social media to ask for help and a number of search parties have tried to find the pup in the local area.

Thousands have shared her posts on social media while hundreds have been out looking for her.

Fiona said: “We’ve updated our finder’s fee, we want our wee dog home so much, it won’t be the same without her.”

Harper’s owners believe the dog may have been taken.

Fiona continued: “She has never wondered before when we put her out, and a van was left seen leaving the area.

“We’ve been out looking for her since she went missing, and loads of people are out looking for our wee dog that we want home so much.

“Thank you everyone. The help is really appreciated.”

The family are asking that if you do see Harper, note her location and the direction she is travelling in and take a photo if possible. Then call Fiona on 07590 295916 or James 0778 4910793.
