Family of young Scots man missing in Barcelona reveal they are 'frantic with worry'

The dad of a Scot missing in Barcelona said his son's disappearance is totally out of character.

Concern is growing for the welfare f Jordan Dean Lindsay, who was last seen in the city on Sunday.

Jordan's worried dad David Lindsay, from Cambuslang , told the Daily Record he is frantic with worry.

He added: "Understandably his mother and I are frantic but we have not lost hope.

"This is really out of character for Jordan. We really hope there is a simple explanation but we know he wouldn’t do this without letting someone know where he was."

Jordan, 32, was on holiday with friends when he disappeared.

The father-of-one had been in the City for a few days before he lost contact with his pals.

David added: "His friend has stayed out in Barcelona to try and get to the correct channels.

"So we can only hope at the moment.

"So many people have shared the pages, at least we know there is a huge support to find his whereabouts."

Hairdresser David issued an appeal on Facebook last night saying: "He has been missing in Barcelona for two days now could you please help him to contact any of us so we know he is OK and get him home.

“The Met police have sent this message out as he has now been officially reported missing so if anybody get any news please call them with the reference number.

"I can’t thank you enough for sharing and your thoughts. Here’s hoping he’s just being an arse."

Anyone with information about Jordan's whereabouts is being urged to contact cops.
