Family of missing man desperate for answers as they launch fresh appeal for info

The devastated family of a missing Carluke man are desperate for answers as they launched a further appeal for information.

Graham Brady was reported missing on December 4 by loved ones when his front door was found open and he hadn’t been in contact.

Now nearly two months on, his heartbroken family are urging anyone with information to get in touch.

Graham’s ex-fiance Colette O’Connor said the family were beyond worried.

Speaking to the Daily Record, Colette said: “I’ve got a daughter recording herself saying she’ll never forget her daddy - it’s heartbreaking.

“His son is 14 and stays in Law - he’s not going to school or going out or anything he’s so worried.

“We’ve done everything - appeals, posters, banners.

“Now it’s been nearly two months since anyone last saw Graham.

“We are urging and begging anyone with any information to come forward as big or small as the information may be.

“We’ve got family here who just don’t know what to do.

“It’s like he’s disappeared into thin air but you just can’t vanish.

“We are urging anyone who might have saw Graham or saw anything suspicious that night to come forward with information - even anonymously - anything can help.”

The 35-year-old was last seen on December 1, around 10pm at Whitehill Crescent in Carluke, South Lanarkshire.

The last possible sighting of Graham was on Friday, December 4 at around 5pm in Carnwath Road, Carluke.

At the time of his disappearance Graham was wearing a tan and green coloured jacket with fur around the hood, black McKenzie tracksuit bottoms, a blue and white striped jumper and white and red Nike trainers.

The father-of-two is described as six foot, two inches tall, of medium build, with brown hair and brown eyes.

Graham is thought to have connections to most towns in Lanarkshire and had been suffering with low mental health at the time of his disappearance after losing his job as a plumber.

Anyone with information on Graham is being urged to contact police on 101 quoting 2148 of December 6.
