Family of missing Larkhall woman Shelly Anne Daly growing concerned for her safety

Police are appealing for information from the public to trace a young woman who has gone missing in Lanark.

Shelly Anne Daly, 23, has been missing from the Blackwood area since yesterday morning (October 24).

Shelly Anne, who is described as white, 5ft 4, medium build, long fair/blond hair, was last seen in Hamilton town centre around 1.30am, and was wearing a red jacket with black collar, carrying a light brown handbag.

Sergeant Jay Cavanagh from Larkhall Police Office says: "It is out of character for Shelley not to be in touch with her family and friends. Both police and her family are growing concerned for her."

"If anyone has seen Shelley or has any information or knowledge as to her whereabouts then please contact police as a matter of urgency."

"Anyone with information is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101 quoting incident number 0557 of 24/10/21."
