Family of missing East Kilbride man last seen 12 days ago 'worried' as concerns grow

Concerns are growing for a 44-year-old man who has been missing for 12 days. James 'Jamie' Reid went missing from the Burnbank area of Hamilton.

Jamie was last seen in Eaglesham Road, East Kilbride, at around 11pm on Saturday June 24. Since then, police have carried out extensive enquiries to locate him, without any success.

He is described as white, around 5ft 9 inches in height with blue eyes and short grey hair.

Sergeant Jason Henry said: "Jamie has never been missing before and it's very out of character for him to not be in touch with family and friends. His family is understandably worried.

"Given that no-one has seen or heard from him since Saturday 24 June, our concern is growing. I would appeal to anyone who may have seen Jamie or who has any information on his whereabouts to contact us.

"Any small piece of information could aid us in locating Jamie."

Anyone with information is asked to call Police Scotland via 101 quoting incident 2469 of the June 30, 2023.
