Family of missing Belfast woman Jamie-Lee Wilson makes emotional appeal

The family of a West Belfast woman last seen one week ago has issued a direct appeal.

Jamie-Lee Wilson, 25, was last seen at midday on Tuesday August 10 leaving the Turf Lodge area.

Speaking to Belfast Live this morning, Jamie Lee's sister in-law says her car has been located in Dundrod, with her personal belongings including her phone and bank card in the car.

She added: "Jamie Lee was last known to be staying in a friend's in Beechmount. We are all really worried about her and we all love and miss her. Everyone needs her home.

"We are all heartbroken wondering where she is, the whole family just need her home where she belongs.

"We're all here for her to support her and if anyone has any information please contact us."

A PSNI spokesperson said: "Police are becoming increasingly concerned for the welfare of missing female Jamie-Lee Wilson from the Gortnamona area of Belfast.

"Jamie Lee is described as being approximately 5ft 4" in height, slim build, with long blonde hair and blue eyes. She was last seen wearing blue jeans and a pink jacket.

"If you know of Jamie-Lee's whereabouts or believe you may have seen her since 10/08/21, please contact Woodbourne Police by calling 101 and quote serial 1453 of 16/08/21."
