The family of a young girl found alone in a park has been traced by police.
The child, thought to be around 10-years-old, was spotted alone in St Helens this morning.
A concerned passerby called the emergency services and she was found by police in Gaskell Park.

She was taken to hospital for a check up and door-to-door enquiries in the area were carried out as officers attempted to find her loved ones.
When that proved unsuccessful, Merseyside Police issued a public appeal to trace the family of the girl, who had been found carrying a Nintendo Switch.
This afternoon, the force confirmed it had found her family.
They tweeted: "Good news. Massive thanks to all those who shared and commented on our appeal to identify the girl who was found in St Helens earlier.
"Her family have now been found and enquiries ongoing to confirm the circumstances. Please be mindful of this if commenting and thanks as always."
