Family of Dublin man Duncan Crozier-Shaw who has dementia and went missing in Spain confirm he's been found safe and well

The family of a Dublin man who went missing in Spain has confirmed he has been found safe and well.

Duncan Crozier-Shaw from Rathgar went missing on Wednesday morning and was last spotted in a shopping centre in Fuengirola.

The 67-year-old's worried wife Madeleine appealed to the Irish public who may have been in Spain to spread the word to help find him.

His son Geoff confirmed tonight that his dad has been found safe and well.

Posting on Facebook, he said: "Duncan found safe and well tonight in Spain.

"Huge thanks to everyone that has helped with finding him, everyone that shared a post and liked a picture, everyone who called offering support.

"The Irish community at home and abroad have been extraordinary, my family and I have been truly touched by all the help, well wishes and support.

"Thanks to the Guardia Civil, the Garda Siochana, the embassy staff and those in the Department of Foreign Affairs for all their help.

"Chloe, Paul, Karl, Simon and Dawn were all a huge support to my family on the ground in Spain and sincerest thanks to them all."
